Jimmie Johnson Releases 2024 Schedule

Jimmie Johnson, the legendary NASCAR Hall of Famer and seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, revealed his 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule during an appearance on the NBC TODAY Show. This exciting announcement also featured Carvana, which will be on board for the season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 18th. Johnson, known as “Seven-Time,” is aiming for his third victory in the “Great American Race.” Carvana will continue its partnership with Johnson and adorn his No. 84 Legacy Motor Club Toyota XSE for key events at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the partnership, Johnson stated, “I’m so proud to represent Carvana for a second NASCAR season and our fourth season overall as partners, at some of my favorite races. Carvana is a fun brand that captures the joy of cars and racing, and they do a great job leveraging their partnership with Legacy M.C. I’m excited to have a shot at another Daytona 500 trophy in our new Toyota Camry XSEs, and the paint scheme is sure to be a fan favorite.”

In addition to these marquee events, Johnson’s 2024 schedule includes races at Texas Motor Speedway on April 14th, Dover Motor Speedway on April 28th, Kansas Speedway on May 5th and September 29th, Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26th, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 20th. Impressively, 40 of Johnson’s 83 career wins have come at the tracks he’ll be competing on this season. This marks Johnson’s busiest racing schedule since his final full-time season in 2020.

The racing legend, hailing from El Cajon, California, is on the brink of being inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, an honor set to take place on Friday, further solidifying his legacy in the world of motorsports.
