Alexander, Letarte and Earnhardt Jr. for TNT Sports, Amazon Prime broadcasts in 2025
TNT Sports and Amazon Prime have announced their broadcast team for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, featuring Adam Alexander, Steve Letarte, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Alexander will take on play-by-play duties, while Letarte will serve as an analyst alongside Earnhardt, who was revealed as the first team member back in May.
Prime Video, a newcomer to NASCAR broadcasting, and TNT Sports, a returning partner, will each air five Cup Series races during the middle of the season. Prime’s coverage begins on May 25 with the Coca-Cola 600 and includes the series’ first-ever event in Mexico City on June 15. TNT takes over on June 28 at Atlanta, showcasing NASCAR’s inaugural in-season tournament with a $1 million prize for the winner.
Alexander, joining from FOX Sports after nearly two decades, brings extensive experience as a play-by-play announcer, pit reporter, and studio host across various NASCAR series. Letarte, a former crew chief with 15 Cup Series wins, reunites with Earnhardt Jr., whom he previously worked with during their time at Hendrick Motorsports. Letarte will also continue his role as an analyst with NBC Sports.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. transitioned to broadcasting in 2018 after retiring from driving, joining NBC Sports as an analyst. For the 2025 season, he will contribute to TNT’s coverage while also collaborating with Bleacher Report through his Dirty Mo Media group.
The addition of Prime Video and TNT Sports expands NASCAR’s broadcast partnerships alongside FOX and NBC. These networks will share coverage under a seven-year media rights agreement that runs through 2031. NASCAR fans can stream races on Prime Video starting next year; details on compatible devices are available at amazon.com/howtostream.
