Noah Gragson to pilot the iconic #4 for FM

Noah Gragson to pilot the #4

The No. 4 car’s storied legacy in the NASCAR Cup Series will continue as it embarks on a new chapter with Noah Gragson and Front Row Motorsports (FRM) for the 2025 season.

Gragson, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, has made a name for himself in NASCAR. His career includes two wins in the Craftsman Truck Series and 13 victories in the Xfinity Series. He came close to a championship in 2022, finishing second in the Xfinity Series. The No. 4 car has been a part of NASCAR history since its inaugural season in 1949, driven by notable drivers such as Frank Mundy, Don Cecchini, Otis Martin, and Bill Rexford.

The No. 4 has also been the number of champions, with Kevin Harvick (2014) and Rex White (1960) both securing Cup Series titles behind the wheel. Harvick, who retired after the 2023 season, holds the distinction of being the winningest driver in the No. 4 car with 37 victories. White follows with 26 wins. Other celebrated drivers, including Sterling Marlin, Ernie Irvan, Bobby Hamilton, and Kasey Kahne, have also piloted the No. 4 to victory.

Most recently, Josh Berry took the wheel of the No. 4 during the 2024 season before Stewart-Haas Racing shut down.

At 26 years old, Gragson is entering his third season in the NASCAR Cup Series with 75 career starts. His 2024 season included eight top 10 finishes and two top-five finishes, marking a notable performance, especially with Stewart-Haas Racing.

Drew Blickensderfer will return as Gragson’s crew chief at FRM for the 2025 season. Blickensderfer, a seasoned 16-year veteran in the Cup Series, previously worked with Gragson at Stewart-Haas Racing and will reunite with him at FRM. In their time together in 2024, the duo achieved 16 top-15 finishes, seven top-10s, and one top-five. Blickensderfer also has experience with FRM, having served as crew chief for Michael McDowell and the No. 34 team in 2021, playing a key role in McDowell’s Daytona 500 victory.

“I’m excited to be back with Front Row Motorsports,” Blickensderfer said in a statement. “I had a great experience working with Bob (Jenkins) and Jerry (Freeze) before, and now returning alongside Noah makes this opportunity even more special.”

In addition to Blickensderfer, several key members from the former Stewart-Haas No. 10 team will join Gragson and Blickensderfer at FRM. These include interior specialist Chris Trickett, engine tuner Matt Moeller, engineer Dillon Silverman, and transport driver Matt Murphy. Gragson expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m grateful to have my crew chief, Drew, along with four members from last year’s team, join Front Row Motorsports. This gives us a strong foundation to hit the ground running in the 2025 season.”
