NASCAR Full Speed on Netflix January 30th

Netflix, NASCAR Studios, and Words + Pictures, a production studio, recently revealed that their latest sports documentary series, “NASCAR: Full Speed,” will debut on January 30th on Netflix. This series, focusing on the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, offers a close look at the 16 playoff drivers competing for the championship, capturing their experiences both during races and beyond.

Spanning five episodes, each lasting 45 minutes, the series promises an intimate glimpse into the lives of top drivers like Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, William Byron, Ross Chastain, and Tyler Reddick. Viewers can expect to delve into the intense physical and emotional hurdles these athletes face as they strive for the pinnacle of success in stock car racing.

Tim Clark, NASCAR’s Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer, highlighted the sport’s evolution with new tracks, cars, team owners, and stars that have elevated the level of competition. He emphasized that this is an opportune moment to showcase the unique blend of characters, competitive spirit, and unpredictability that defines NASCAR, while also providing in-depth insights for the sport’s ardent followers.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., a NASCAR Hall of Famer and former competitor in the NASCAR Playoffs is one of the executive producers guiding the documentary series. He commented on the unmatched intensity of the NASCAR Playoffs’ elimination format, noting its distinctiveness in the world of motorsports.

Adding to the narrative, Connor Schell, the CEO and executive producer at Words + Pictures, mentioned that the playoffs create an ideal setting for a story rich in tension and memorable personalities. Having spent months with the drivers in various settings, Schell expressed excitement about bringing fans closer to the enthralling world of NASCAR, appealing to both dedicated and casual viewers.
