NASCAR and Bell Media strike deal for Canadian viewers
NASCAR and Bell Media have struck a deal to keep all three of NASCAR’s major series available to Canadian viewers.
For the first time, all three series—the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series—will be broadcast in Canada under Bell Media’s platforms.
While the Truck and Xfinity Series have been shown in Canada before, the coverage has been less consistent, especially when compared to the Cup Series. The addition of the USA Network to Bell Media’s lineup now provides a dedicated space for Truck Series events without competing for timeslots on TSN’s channels or TSN+.
Bell Media’s press release confirmed that all races, qualifying sessions, and practices will air across its networks, including CTV, TSN, TSN+, and the USA Network. Additionally, Bell Media will also carry the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Canada Series, with REV TV serving as the official broadcaster for both.
The NASCAR Cup Series will kick off with the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray on Sunday, February 2nd at 8:00pm ET, followed by the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 16th at 2:30pm ET.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series starts the Saturday before Daytona, with the United Rentals 300 at 5:00pm ET, while the Craftsman Truck Series races on February 14th in Daytona at 7:30pm ET.
The NASCAR Canada Series will begin its season on May 18th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park at 2:00pm ET.
