Front Row Motorsports aligns with Team Penske

Front Row Motorsports has entered into a technical collaboration with Team Penske ahead of the upcoming 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Working in tandem, Front Row Motorsports and Team Penske will collaborate across various domains, including engineering, aerodynamics, race setup, strategy, and the development of pit crews.

Both entities are set to commence the Cup season from the front row. Joey Logano of Team Penske clinched the pole position for the Daytona 500 scheduled for Sunday, with Michael McDowell of Front Row Motorsports securing a coveted spot on the front row alongside him.

Front Row Motorsports will continue its affiliation with Ford Performance for multiple seasons, upholding a partnership that originated in 2004.

The longstanding relationship between Ford Performance and Front Row Motorsports has yielded significant successes over the years. These include victories at Talladega in 2013 and Pocono in 2016, a Daytona 500 triumph in 2021, a win at the Indianapolis road course in the previous season, and clinching the Truck Series championship title in 2022.

Mark Rushbrook, the global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, expressed admiration for Front Row Motorsports’ approach, stating, “A racer’s mindset isn’t suited to be patient. We all want results immediately, but the way Bob Jenkins and Jerry Freeze have built Front Row Motorsports through the years is a model for how it should be done. We’ve always been proud of our partnership and can’t wait to see how much higher they can go with this new Team Penske alliance.”
