Chase Elliott has Surgery for Old Injury

Chase Elliott shared a “little life update” on social media Friday, revealing that he underwent a procedure to address a shoulder injury and expressing his intention to be in peak health for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Elliott, who drives for Hendrick Motorsports in the No. 9 Chevrolet, posted a brief video on the X platform (formerly Twitter). In the video, he mentioned that he had an “old injury” that required attention, noting that the offseason was a more suitable time for the procedure compared to his previous surgery, which was related to the leg injury that caused him to miss six races early in the last season. While Elliott’s right arm is supported in a sling in the video, he reassured his followers that he was “all good, ready to go” for the 2024 season.
